Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage & Family Therapy - Systemic Administration and Entrepreneurship

National University’s Doctorate of Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) with a specialization in Systemic Administration and Entrepreneurship develops your critical thinking and research skills while providing you with the knowledge, practical application, and values that will shape you into a competent, ethical, and culturally sensitive marriage and family therapist. The specialization prepares you to use your relational and systemic skills in a variety of contexts, such as private practice, mental health agencies and organizations, business, or schools. Additionally, you will cultivate competence in working with diverse populations, appraise ethical conduct in professional contexts, and prepare applied projects that are designed to make a measurable difference. The SAE is a clinical specialization that requires students to focus their course projects, internship work, and doctoral projects on issues broadly related to administration or entrepreneurship.
